Matt has been looking forward to the day that both kids can sit through a movie. I think the day has finally come and we decided to try Hudson out for the first time. Hadley had been wanting to see Rise of the Guardians so we decided to go on a Sunday afternoon when the crowds would be a little smaller. We also thought it would be a good idea for both of us to go so that one of us could leave with Hudson if he got too antsy. Here is a picture of the family buying movie tickets. Its the best I could get because Hudson refused to look at me and we were all just too excited to get in there!
Side note: Hadley insisted on dressing herself and wearing shorts in the middle of winter. She was so excited about her outfit and didn't even notice all the people looking at us like we were crazy for letting her dress this way!
After loading up on Icees, popcorn, candy, and cokes Hadley led the way to the theater with Hudson running and screaming behind her. He was more than excited!!!
Our first movie experience was a success and I can't wait for many more movies with the family! Hadley has been to several movies and did great and Hudson loved watching his first big movie. I do have to say without the popcorn, candy, and sugary drinks we may have not had the same results but whatever it takes...
