February pictures.

We've had a few big snows this winter and it never fails that I want to take a picture of our back porch while its covered with a layer of white!

Hudson needed to help Papa put together his new gas logs.

Life in the car while waiting to pick up Hadley at school. Car rides got much easier after he learned to use the iPad.

Bubble beard...

Sleepy face:

Hadley and Hudson love to play pretend together now. Here they are having a campout with a pallet and soon a set up tent.

Some pictures I created with my new app...Waterlogue.

As soon as we enter the neighborhood Hudson is quick to jump out of his carseat and sit like Hadley. The kids were a little tired after church and Hadley laid in Hudsons lap so he could rub her back.

After a few days of not feeling well, Matt took Hudson to the store and bought him a bubble gun. It seemed to cheer him up a bit and get him outside for some fresh air.

But 15 minutes was about enough and he was back inside and asleep on the couch. After stripping his pants off I realized he had quite a high fever and we weren't quite well yet.

Ryan sent us this picture of Buck. Apparently, everytime he would walk out on their pool cover the static would make his hair stand on end. He would step off and it would immediately fall back down.

Silly and excited to be back at school and well. Love when Kristin sends me these pics while I'm working!

Obviously, Hadley is still in her rainbow looming craze! We spend a lot of time making bracelets, handing them out, losing them, and making more.

Some of Hudson's activities while Hadley is at school...playing in the sandbox, running errands, and as much time outside as possible. Last week we went to Petco to get dog food and Hudson fell in love with the turtles and ferrets. He wanted his picture with each and we ended up spending 1.5 hours there just watching them.

Although the excitement doesn't show here, Hadley couldn't wait to go to an OSU basketball game with Daddy and Hudson while I went on my girls trip staycation. She was all decked out in an OSU scarf, bow, and dress.

A little cookie will make any day better.

Spoiled kiddo will lay anywhere he needs to get a back rub.

Theta girls weekend

It has been a LONG time since my best college friends have all gotten together. For a while we would at least see each other for weddings but soon the weddings came to an end, babies were born, we lived in all different states (Oklahoma, Texas, North Carolina, Missouri), and time got away from us. Last fall, Susan started coordinating a Theta reunion in Okc. I was so excited and couldn't wait for February to get here so I could see everyone. Marianne (the only other one that lives in Okc) and I started brainstorming on places to eat and where to stay.

Everyone got here about the same time but we shopped a little bit while waiting for everyone to meet up. We went to Anthropologie, On a Whim, Uptown kids, and then met at Cafe 501 for lunch. We spent lunch going around the table and catching everyone up on what had been going on in our lives. Thankfully, Facebook has kept us from being too far removed from each other. After lunch we did a little more shopping and then just went back to the Skirvin for wine and conversation (and relaxing). After a couple hours  we got ready for dinner and drove to Packards. The food was great and a nice treat for all of us. We finally, went back to the hotel where there is a pretty fun piano bar and hung out the rest of the night. Our old selves called it a night about midnight and were ready for bed! The next morning everyone had to start heading back home so we made a quick trip to Starbucks and all went on our way. It was such a wonderful weekend and made me miss these girls so much! Hopefully, it wont be another 10 years before we plan it again!

New bike

Hudson got a new bike and was super excited! He was just having a little trouble with his balance bike and we thought this would make him more excited for our family bike rides. He was a bit nervous when he first climbed on and didn't want to pedal much. He would take it really slow and was so scared it was going to tip over.

While Hudson was getting the hang of riding down, Hadley and her friend Lottie cruised around the neighborhood in Hadley's Escalade. Lets hope they pay more attention to the road when they truly are driving.

It didn't take long for Hudson to want to keep up with the girls and he lost a little bit of his fear. He was soon pedaling as fast as he could and doing circles in the driveway.

Day #2 of learning to ride.

Love this sweet little face!

And after getting home from school it was back out to ride again...even if it was raining.

Unfortunately, the wet concrete ended with a fall off the bike and a bloody lip. Thankfully, he jumped right back on the bike the next day and had no fear again. I am anticipating lots of bike rides in the future!
