June Pictures

Pool time as a family is always good for us! The kids and I went to academy for some Kanakuk shopping and found these cool ninja warrior floats for the pool. They could hardly wait to get home and air them up.

Someone doesn't want to be outside because its so hot but he also doesn't want to miss out on the fun!

Some pics of Hudson before birthday parties and at birthday parties.

Hadley and friends before softball defensive camp. Such a fun group.

Davis, Sloan, Katie, and Abby have been in town getting ready for Kanakuk. We have had the best time hanging out with them for a week. Only wish it could happen more often.

How cute is this baseball team?! Hudson loved playing with the Rangers and they ended up getting third place this year. We love his coaches too! We have a big decision to make on if we want to stay with this team (that practices a whole lot and plays games far away) or play with some school friends in a less competitive league that is by our house. We are letting Hudson make that decision.

Purple kool-aid hair for softball State. Lets hope it brings some good luck!

Playing games in the driveway and the next few pictures show that we don't have the best sports when it comes to losing.

First time for Hudson to skinny-dip. It took lots of persuading to get him to jump in but then he was all about it!

Hudson seems to be a little heart throb at school. We came home to a "happy summer" package on our front porch from some sweet girls in the neighborhood, Allie and Georgia. Hudson was so embarrassed but couldn't quit smiling.

Swimming with friends is always the best! Sno cones are the icing on the cake....

Some tournament fun at our Father's Day tournament.

The kids with their daddy on Fathers Day! They've got the very best!

Kanakuk!!

Hadley's 3rd year of Kanakuk and Hudson's 1st year. Hadley had absolutely zero nerves this time and was so excited to have Hudson along with her. She was ready to help him on the bus, help him get his lunch on the way to kamp, and couldn't wait to check on him throughout the week. I have been so nervous about sending Hudson at only 7 years old but he really wanted to go and I feel like he is ready.  Everyone did great leading up to the day of but when we were pulling into the parking lot and Hudson noticed the buses he started getting pretty teary eyed. He cheered up but quickly got nervous again after finding his seat on the bus and waiting their turn to go. Hadley gave us lots of hugs and got a little nervous but had no problem waving to us and telling us bye! I love that she is so confident now and I know Hudson will be there soon too!

It is always such a long wait for the check in pictures that come around 4pm. It is such a relief to see they have made it and still have smiles on their faces!

And then for my favorite part each year....The pictures they send us each day at 2pm. I am always stalking my computer and dying to see the pictures each day. We got some great ones this year. It looks like they are having the best time!
