May Pictures

May can be a crazy month with sports and the end of school but its been a great month. Here are some of my favorite pictures...

Hudson hanging out in the car while we waited for Hadley to get done with dance.

The first graders always have a Mexican Mercado at school. They each bring about 10 junk toys (think Happy Meal toys) and they trade them with each other. They eat Mexican food and have the best time. Hudson was so excited to come home and show me all he got.

Hadley has become the team babysitter for all of Hudson's sports. There are so many little brothers and sisters and Hadley eats it up!

Mad scientist day at school and lunch with Hadley for her birthday blessing. I can't believe this is her last birthday blessing. I love hearing all the sweet things her friends have to say about her.

Seeing lots of gray but he is still the prettiest around!

First football game and we tried to get a picture of them all looking directly into the sun. Ha! Hudson is beyond excited for this to start up.

While Matt and I were away at out CE course my dad sent me this picture. Those cute ducks we had decided it would be great to lay some eggs in our flower bed. And now we have ducklings in our pool. Unfortunately, they couldn't get out and my dad had to build a ramp and basically scoot them out. Apparently, if they don't have a way out they will end up dying of pneumonia. They made it out but were probably really traumatized and never came back. I was kind of sad to not see them but I had a friend tell me they make such a huge mess as they grow that maybe I should consider it a blessing instead.

Hadley had Peyton and Savannah come cheer her on for her last dance competition. So sweet of them both!

This picture was from the last week of school where they got to dress up in their sports team gear. Hadley and her friends dressed in their softball uniform and Hudson wore his cavs jersey.

Took these three to dinner before their softball game and they were cracking me up. Lots of laughs and smiles. Such sweet friends!

How can she look so old. She took this picture of herself and sent it to me while I was at work. It took my breath away.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is always one of my favorite weekends of summer. We are all ready for some lake time, mama and papa put on a great Memorial Day party, and we just get to have lots of family time. I have a ton of pics to share with no time to write lots of captions. Hopefully, the fun can be seen just in looking at them.

We spent lots of time wakeboarding, learning to wakeboard, and tubing. Hadley picked up wakeboarding great! I really think Hudson would too if he had a board a little smaller.

We invited our friends, Amy and her boys, to the lake. Her husband is deployed right now and it was fun to give them a fun weekend at the lake. Gray is such a great friend to Hudson right now so it was fun to see them play and have a great time.

The best shrimp boil!!!

Boys being boys in the mud...

Its become quite the tradition to have a water balloon fight when we have a big crowd. These kids have no mercy on each other.

The Dillons went home and we were all exhausted. Everyone slept great and we were ready for more time on the water the next day.

Such a fun weekend and a great start to our summer!
