Spaghetti Eddie

Kellen (8), Kinley (4), and Kase (2) had joint birthday party with Spaghetti Eddie as the guest appearance! He played lots of music for the kids and they all had so much fun dancing. Amber and Jay served a big spaghetti dinner and each of the three birthday kids had a different flavor of cake for everyone to choice a slice from.

Hudson took a break from the heat to enjoy some lemonade:

Hadley started off all the dancing and pretty soon all the other kids followed!

Cheers!
Hadley and Hudson with their cousin, Lexi. She is such an amazing helper with Hudson and she is about the only kid he will let carry him around.

Love that Hudson has finally started posing for pictures with his sister. However, he also thinks its funny to make goofy faces when he smiles!
Such a fun party!

Pantless Golf

We all got on the golf cart the other night to hit some balls and while Matt was hitting and I was helping Hadley, Hudson decided to do this:

No, he's not close to potty training...he obviously thinks its just more fun to play golf without his shorts on. Hadley thought it was hilarious and quickly ran to tell her daddy!

Hadley's Fashion Show

We just had my favorite girls birthday party to date for Hadley's 5th birthday! Hadley loves to dress up, changes clothes at least 5 times, and carries around a tube of lipgloss (chapstick) everywhere she goes. So it didn't surprise me one bit when she came up with the idea of a fashion show birthday party all by herself. I thought it would be a fun idea and got to work on some ideas.

Here is her invitation:

And some decorations...

Each of the girls got their nails painted...

Make-up done...

...and French braids.

Then I bought lots of costume jewelry, purses, and hats for them to try model with. Thankfully, my mom had saved all my prom jewelry and purses which she knew would come in handy someday.

I bought some fabric at Hobby Lobby and made a runway by lining it with hot pink duct tape.

Lots of desserts:

Decorating is complete and now we are just waiting for the guests to arrive! Hadley was quick to take a few pictures for me including some of her own "modeling" poses.

Some pictures of the girls getting their hair done:

And makeup. Of course, Hadley chose the hot pink lipstick.

The nail polish was a big hit as well. Each girl wanted to come up with a unique pattern and poor Sarah could hardly keep up!

Lots of playing on the fort, eating pizza and snacks, and running all around while waiting for everyone to finish up their hair.

Finally time for the fashion show! I assumed that the shyness would kick in and we may not have many runway participants but I couldn't have been more wrong. We turned up the Kids Bop music on the outdoor speakers, had the parents line the runway in chairs, opened up the sliding glass doors,  closed the curtains, and the show began. Each girl would make quite the entrance through the curtain and was excited to show off their poses at the end.

Hadley was the first to go and I realized I was in the wrong spot. I quickly moved to the end of the runway but unfortunately this is the only shot I got of her first outfit.

Jase, decided to crash the runway and got quite a laugh out of everyone.

Round 2

Three best friends!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Hadley, Happy Birthday to you!!!

Lots of french braids and costumes enjoying some cake.

Hadley said, "This was the best party EVER!" We all had a great time and it could not have been a more perfect them for my girly girl!
