July pictures

We love when Kristin comes in town and we get to meet up with her and the boys! They are just so precious and seeing Kristin is always so much fun. We love catching up, even if it makes us miss her even more.

The kids did a 3 day golf camp and loved it. They took lessons from one of Hudson's school friends grandpa which made it pretty fun for them. Hudson was the youngest boy at camp and Hadley was the youngest girl at camp. They did great, learned a lot, and came home wanting to play more golf which definitely made Dad happy!

This next group of pics are just some random pictures of these tan, summer babies. We have obviously spent a lot of time outside!

Hadley at Kaitlyn's birthday party. I don't usually post pictures of ALL their birthday parties but these were just pretty cute.

A little summertime schoolwork. I'm not super structured about it but we try to do a little each week. And they actually like it! I think it's fun for them and keeps them from getting bored. They are both reading and/or doing some sort of learning worksheet 4 days a week.

Hadley and her sweet friend, Reese, still love playing with baby dolls. I love it! They will set up a daycare, play school, and take walks. They will set up their phone and video themselves taking care of the dolls so that one day I just might post it on youtube for them. They have such fun imaginations and I love sneaking up and watching them play.

Hudson was thrilled to get a letter from his Kindergarten teacher and couldn't wait to write her back. He did it all on her own and I was so impressed with how well he is doing spelling and writing.

Hadley's friend, Presley, that is new to Crossings. We have known Presley's family in the neighborhood for years but the girls have really just become friends at school. They have loved having some playdates!

Just some random pictures... When Hadley has a sleepover I will sleep with Hudson in bed and I love waking up with him curled up in my arm. He's getting so big! And even Hadley isn't too old yet to fall asleep in my lap sometimes!

Enjoying our new patio! We have spent so much time out here watching tv, swimming, and relaxing. I'm going to love our summers!

And just a couple more...Hadley looking so serious at hitting camp and Bauer cuddled up next to Hudson on the floor. Sweet dog just wants to be next to someone at all times!

Family golf and visiting Uncle Ryan

Matt and I still look forward to the day the kids really get interested in golf. Who knows, maybe they never will....though I'm sure Matt won't let that happen! We had nothing going on this weekend so we decided it would be really fun to take them with us to play their first real round of golf. We thought Guthrie would be perfect since its a slower/easier course we wouldn't have people waiting on. Even better...Ryan was at the fire department and we knew the kids would love to go by and visit him afterwards.

Lots of pictures on the golf course. Every time Hudson plays he insists on wearing his "golf hat" since Matt got it for him from his trip to the Masters a few years back. Hadley just fits right in with her little skirt. They may not have the skills yet but they sure look the part!

Such a beauty. She was so much fun and loved driving the golf cart!

How precious is he?!

Time to visit Uncle Ryan. The kids were so excited to go see him and Hudson couldn't wait to see the fire pole again. We immediately went out and saw the fire pole and took a picture with Ryan by it again...just like a few years ago.

Next, Ryan took us into the garage bays and we got to see all the trucks, Hudson tried on Ryan's gear, and then we took a fun ride in the firetruck. Ryan even showed us how fast it goes. It was so much fun! The kids got to shoot the water hose and run the sirens. They were on cloud 9. I don't have any pictures but afterwards Ryan took us to this great restaurant in Downtown Guthrie. He got to eat lunch with us for a little bit but then his siren went off and he had to run out on us. Hudson and Hadley just thought that was the craziest thing to see him leave on a call. Of course, they were super worried about him and wanted so badly to go try and find where the fire was.

We had such a great day together today! We all came home with a little more sun and a lot more tired. Hopefully, we can make time to do it again soon!
