February pics

When you haven't quite hit the 24 hours fever free period and you have to miss another day of school you take advantage of it and sneak in a coffee date with mom. Love getting my little moments with my kids.

We have really loved the hot tub. And its even more fun in the winter when we get to feel like we are swimming. The kids are relaxing and watching American Ninja Warrior after a day at school.

Hudson's basketball team this year. Such a fun group of boys!

We went to the monster truck rally with Ryans family and E's family. I wouldn't say it was our favorite day ever! :) The kids had fun for a little bit but got really bored and said they are ok never doing it again. Ha. They did pick their favorite trucks though...Hudson's was gravedigger and Hadley's was scooby doo.

Just some random pictures around the house...silly and cute poses with Hadley, Hudson hiding under blankets to watch his ipad, and more tv watching. Its been a pretty relaxing February!

One Nation Under God program

Instead of the 4th graders doing a spring program with the school, they get to do their own program dedicated to all they have learned about the United States this year. Each student is given a state that they research and present to their grade. There are certain facts they need to find and put on a three-fold poster. After presenting to the 4th grade they set it up for parents to walk around and look at that evening before watching their program. It was such a fun night for us to see all the work Hadley had done. She even had a speaking part at the beginning to welcome the audience and did such a great job.

First dance competition...Tribute

Hadley was pretty devastated when she found out the daddy/daughter dance was the same weekend as her first dance competition of the season in Claremore. And then she couldn't have been more excited when her schedule came out and she found out she was only dancing on Sunday. It meant for a rush to find a dress and a busy weekend but I was so glad she was able to do both! She danced the night away with her daddy and friends on Saturday and we woke up first thing Sunday morning to drive to Claremore. Mama and Papa came too so it was fun to get to ride with them. They typically bring the RV but because of our Daddy/Daughter dance situation we decided it would be easier to just drive the car. She has such a fun Jr. Company group and I loved watching them today. I love every single one of their dances but their small group dance is just the sweetest! Its so upbeat and fun and I smile the whole time I am watching it. For the first competition they did great! They got platinum in all three dances and then scored 1st overall in their small group. They got 2nd overall in one of their Jr. Company dances. So awesome!

Father Daughter Dance

Every year I say the same thing...its one of Hadley's most anticipated days of the year! She loves her Daddy and loves this day with him. We always get to pick out a new dress and she gets spoiled by her daddy. This year they went to Shoguns with the Erik and Lottie, and Ryan and Peyton. Matt is a man of few pictures so I don't get a lot and have to overload them with pictures before they leave instead! :) I think they had a great time! Hudson and I got our own date...picking out and building a lego set.

Pictures from the dance. I LOVE this selfie of the two!!

And Hudson sure does have a way with the ladies. They all came over screaming when they saw Hadley and asked Matt to take a picture of them with her. Then they asked Matt to send it to Hudson so he could see them!
