Last basketball games and a few others

We have finished up Hadley's basketball season and she had a blast! It was fun to see how much she improved over the season and how much she enjoyed it. On her YMCA team she was the very smallest, yet the oldest. She still held her own well and made 4+ buckets each game.  On her Crossings league she played against boys and it didn't seem to intimidate her one bit! It was also a much rougher league where the kids would steal, push, and very little was called. So each league was different and so fun. Hadley is constantly wanting to be on the go and can't sit at home for 5 minutes so the business of two teams was ok for this year. Unfortunately, next year (when homework begins)we may just have to play on just one team!

Some pictures from her first Crossings basketball game:

YMCA team. I love that they had Thunder colors!

Hadley and Holland both scored 4 baskets this game:

And I finally catch a goal on camera!

Hudson had to spend a lot of time in the gym this winter. He was typically a very good sport and loved playing with Oscar but this particular moment he was throwing a bit of a fit to run out on the court with the girls...

A little b-ball practice at the Crossings gym:

Last basketball game and team pictures. I would like to say they were saying a little prayer in their huddle before the game but instead Hadley told me they were comparing shoes.

Look at that defensive stance...

Getting the much anticipated medal. Crossings also gave out a basketball which was a fun end-of-the-season gift.

And the last YMCA game. Hudson watched a movie on the iPad while dodging a few basketballs that came flying his way.

Two medals in one day! Now we just have to come up with a spot to keep all these things at home. We had such great coaches on both teams and can't wait to play another season next winter.
