December extras

Its been a really cold December and we have spent most of our time indoors. But it hasn't kept us from having lots of fun with many picture opportunities.

Matt brought home a new mini fridge for the media room and Hadley and Hudson loved the box. It kept them contained for a little bit as well!

Kristin sent me this picture while I was at work. Hudson's school had a little photo setup and Hudson was pretty excitted to take a picture on Santa's sleigh.

Hudson went with me to Target to buy the supplies for our gingerbread houses. Bad idea because on the Christmas aisle were MANY other things we didn't need...including cotton candy!

Helping with dinner...

One day after school Hadley and Hudson were playing with her dolls. He is so sweet to her when she has been gone all day and will do pretty much anything she wants.  Hadley told Hudson he needed to babysit while she went to the store. I thought he looked so sweet, watching tv and looking after her babies.

Spending quality time over the iPads.

A treat in hand is about the only way for a successful Target trip with this wild man.

I picked Hadley up at school one Monday for a surprise lunch date! She thought it was so fun. I told her to pick anywhere she wanted thinking we would go someplace special like Chilis, McAlisters, or somewhere else nearby. No...she picked Subway. We had a fun time laughing over our sandwiches and quickly headed back to school.  I definitely need to do this more often!

Hudson and Duncan swinging in Duncan's hammock swing. Hudson thought this was pretty much the coolest thing ever!

Rough time deciding on one sucker and we had to get out the door for Hadley's basketball practice. So obviously, he got all four!

On our way to pick up Hadley from school and he just looked too cute to not get a picture of him.

Kate's 6th birthday party. The girls played dress-up in Kate's many cheer uniforms. Hadley was given the OU uniform. Charlotte's mom thought it was pretty funny to send me a picture of her.

Playing slides and ladders with Hudson. They giggle the whole time they play this game. I love the second picture where she is making a face at him for beating her. He would just laugh, and laugh, and laugh at her!

Enjoying some nice weather and swinging outside. We had a fun day of chick-fil-a, playing outside, and then Lolly and Pops took the kids to build-a-bear to use their Christmas gift cards. Hadley picked out a puppy and Hudson picked out Rudolf. A fun gift idea!
