It was time to pack up and head home from an awesome week. We made it down for one more breakfast where they announced the winners of the most excited, over the top group of kids and the Kiwi kids won! Hadley was pretty excited to stand up there with the counselors and the Golden Surfboard they won.
Afterwards they sang the birthday song for Hadley even though it was a day early. She got to stand up in front of everyone and they presented her with a big birthday sundae that she had to take a bite of right there while everyone chanted, "ONE BIG BITE!" She was on cloud 9!
One last picture of our room and some sad faces when they realized we were leaving.
We stopped in Joplin to pick up the toys they had saved their money for all week. Hudson got his polar bear and Hadley got her owl. We were back in the car and within minutes these two were konked out. This was a trip we will never forget. Not the most relaxing but definitely the most meaningful. I, for one, can't wait to go back!
