How many dads want to spend their whole Father's Day weekend at a softball tournament? Hadley is pretty lucky to have a dad that would rather be nowhere else. He could spend his whole day relaxing and instead loves getting up first thing in the morning to spend the weekend watching his girl play softball. It was a long weekend of softball but so much fun and ended better than ever. Hadley made some pretty incredible outs by stopping some hard hit line drives and throwing girls out at first. And we ended on a great game! We fought our way back to get to play for 3rd place in the tournament. We won the game and even beat an older team to do so! It was such a fun win of the girls and they played great. Their bats were on fire and I think they all got hits. It was awesome to watch! They were so excited to add a trophy to their collection.

Hadley got pretty beat up in this game and handled it like a champ. She took a hard line drive to the shin and still recovered and got the girl out. She told me how bad her leg was hurting after the game and I had her pull down her sock and show me. OUCH! I was so impressed she finished out the whole game without complaining. We got her some ice and she finished out the rest of the tournament. She's so tough!
