Seaside - Day 7

We couldn't let another Seaside trip go by without trying Charlie's Donut Truck. You know how some things just get built up too much? They were really awesome donuts but I think I had grown to expect something out of this world. Still...we will definitely be making a trip back to the donut truck next time we are here. Hadley and I went while everyone was still at home sleeping. It was a fun drive with her, talking about how much fun the trip had been.

After eating breakfast, we all headed down to the central square to play some ball before going to the beach. We bought a couple more souvenirs, ran around for a bit, rested in the shade, and then went down to the beach with the little guys.

The Bakers had given us a pass to their pool so we rode our bikes from the house to Watercolor and joined them at the pool to swim and then ate lunch on the beach. The pool was incredible. Such a pretty view of the ocean and it wasn't crowded making the swimming perfect. The big kids had fun swimming while Buck, Gunner, Papa, and Ryan went down to the beach. After swimming for a bit the kids were ready to go play in the ocean.

The kids had so much fun all playing together. They dug holes, looked for crabs, buried each other, and paddleboarded in the ocean. They had the best time! The pictures speak for themselves but it was pretty much all smiles, all day. We even got to play with Knox and Emma who go to Crossings as well.

We rinsed off in the pool one more time before heading back on our bikes to the house. Actually, the most of us rode in the golf cart because the girls wanted to try riding back ALL by themselves all the way from Watercolor. Other than one near colision with another biker, they did great and thought they were so big!

We swam just a little bit more, got showered and dressed, and spent very little time inside before heading back to the square for the kids to have one more night of playing. Ryan and Lisa went to eat at Great Southern and Mama, Papa, Matt, and I picked up a pizza to eat on the benches while the kids played. We finished it off with one last snocone. This really has been such an amazing trip and we are sad to see it end!
