Seaside - Day 2

Early morning wake-up for most of us. We checked out the house and went on the balcony to take a look at our amazing view. Some quick couch cuddles and we were out the door to walk around the Farmer's Market in Watercolor which comes each Sunday and Thursday. The girls could hardly wait to buy something and each had Mama and Papa suckered into a necklace by the time they got to the second booth. It was fun looking at all the jewelry, artwork, and soaps. But, by far, the best part were the crepes. We each tried a different flavor and took a taste of each others. Thankfully, they were well worth the 30 minute wait!

It wasn't too long before all the kids were ready to head back and get ready for the beach. We quickly changed, loaded up all our gear, and walked across the street to the beach. It was perfect. Not too crowded and the weather was wonderful. Buck's first words..."Its a big sandbox!" They played, laughed, ran, swam, and built sand castles. And it was so fun to see such joy!

Exhausted after several hours on the beach, we came back to the house to rest. The kids ate snacks in bed and we even lost a couple to a quick nap. As soon as everyone was up we loaded up on bikes and the golf cart and headed over to the central square to play. We ate dinner on the surrounding ledge and watched the kids run and play with new found friends. And we had to start the week off right with a sno-cone from Frost bites. A fun first day!
