We've waited a while for this day. We don't have the best eaters and we especially didn't have babies that would sit in a carseat or toddlers that would sit still. So needless to say, eating out just wasn't worth it. We could probably count on both hands the number of times we have gone out to eat (unless it was a large family outing). And it usually involved inhaling our food and getting out of there as fast as we could. So it has come as quite a surprise to us that after almost 7 years we are able to enjoy dinner with the kids and all have a conversation together. We watched the Crossings girls play soccer tonight and after the game we decided to eat at McAlisters. The kids had no trouble finding something they wanted to eat and the weather was perfect to eat outside. As we all sat around the table eating and talking Matt and I looked at each other and both commented on what an enjoyable night it was. I am so excited to be at the point that we can have fun together as a family in a new way now!
After dinner Hudson put on Hadley's sunglasses and he wouldn't smile so he could look cool. Then Hadley told him he looked like a girl which quickly put a frown on his face!
