New Soccer Team

Hadley started with a new soccer team, the Pink Knights, through Edmond Soccer Club. She  has a few girls from school on her team and loves playing with them. A couple girls have older brothers that play very competitively and they've had lots of experience on the soccer field. I think we have a really great team and can't wait to see how well they do. We have had a couple games already and lost the first one but in their defense it was 100 degrees and we played last season's undefeated team. The second game went much better and we won 8-4! Our girls were so excited and screamed with excitement after each goal! And lastly, the third game (all we have played so far) was won again...this time 8-2. It has been much cooler the past couple games making it a lot more enjoyable for the girls and the fans!

Pink Knights!!!

Look how red this face is! I wouldn't want to play in that heat either...

Game 2 was much better weather for everybody. Our girls came out excited to play and were even more excited with each goal. You can see in a couple pics where they would all cheer for each others goals!

A couple action shots...

She may be the smallest on the team but she tries to get in there and get the ball!

Hudson thought he was watching out for the bad guys while the girls played. And Papa helped him "shoot" some birds in the trees.

Game 3 started with even better weather and some stretching.

Hadley got a great break-away and dribbled the ball all the way down the field. She was so close to a goal until the other team cut her off.

We were so excited and appreciative that Mama and Papa were able to come to the game. Papa has come to each of them but it was great that Mama is feeling better and able to come as well. Hadley sure loves having a cheering section!

The parent tunnels may be the girls favorite part of the game. I love that each team runs through both sides tunnels and, win or lose, they all have smiles on their faces when they are getting cheered for.

So we are now 2-1 and I am sure there are many more soccer pictures to come.
