The Holleyman's had a group of us over for a back-to-school celebration cookout. The majority of us there have a daughter starting Kindergarten so it was definitely bittersweet! Bary grilled hamburgers and hotdog for all of us and the kids didn't quit swimming for about 2 hours straight. We enjoyed some great weather and lots of laughs. This summer went by way too quickly but it was fun to have one last get together before all the girls headed off to their own schools. This will be an emotional week for all of us even though these girls so are ready!
Friends since birth! All three are going to separate schools but I am SURE they will always be close:
Hudson got a new backpack for school and when he saw that I brought it as our pool bag he decided he needed to put it on. He even gave up swimming just so he could wear it!
Hudson can be so sweet with little babies. He loved talking and "petting" Deacon.
Not very often that I can get Hudson to smile for a picture with Hadley but I thought this one was pretty cute:
Our monkey is so crazy strong! He was doing all sorts of planks and flips that none of the older kids could do. It may help that he has no extra weight to lift but it still amazed everyone watching.
The girls all took turn posing for us as they jumped off the diving board.
Though you can't see them in this picture, Brooklyn and Brynlee gave all their guests a back-to-school goody bag. We are so thankful for such great friends!
