Just one of the projects posted on the outside of Hadley's classroom door. So cute!
Can't be the most comfy way to watch tv.. And not only the tv, he is watching his iPad as well.
Ryan and Lisa moved into their new house and the boys got this fun rock wall in their backyard. We went over to see the house (which is beautiful) and let the kids play for a bit. It was a gorgeous day and they had fun playing "family" for the longest time.
Mama and Papa planned a little trip to the American Girl Store for Hadley and Peyton. They stayed at the Galleria, had lunch at the store, did lots of shopping, and went ice skating in the mall. Hadley took some of her own money to spend and had been on a countdown for a couple weeks. She just couldn't wait! They got pretty spoiled with new toys and had such a good time. We got to spoil Hudson here at home and have some fun one-on-one time with him!
I went up to school one day and saw these posters. It was during the 100th day of school that they were asked these questions. In case its too small, Hudson said he did not want 100 old, cold pizzas and he does want 100 legos. It made me laugh because I will never forget what Hadley wrote a few years ago..."I do NOT want 100 boyfriends!" Haha!
Hudson brought home this paper from school practicing his handwriting. I asked him if he realized he was spelling his name wrong. He said, "I had a substitute and I kept telling her that but she didn't believe me and made me spell it like the paper said." Poor guy acted like he was so frustrated all day about it!
Basketball and working on defense with daddy in the driveway, Hudson's silly smile, Hudson and Oscar playing in the trees at Hadley's softball practice, and the kids at Lolly and Pop's house.
I took the kids to Pops after school for an afternoon treat of milkshakes and some candy. They were so excited. Then we went over to the Ivviva store for a free basketball class they were having for the girls. We met Laneale, Holland, and Oscar over there. They girls played basketball, the moms shopped, and the boys ran around like wild ones. It was all fun until we left there and Hudson threw up the minute we got home. With sick season all around us I just knew he was sick but turns out I think he just ran around and got too hot with a milkshake still settling in his belly.
iPad watching, couch cuddling, and movie watching before bedtime. We are all so excited that Ninja Warrior has started back. Its fun to watch the kids get so excited and cheer for people going through the course. And Hudson is still pretty convinced he will be on the show someday!
Hadley made her own little car for her baby dolls. Looking at these pictures I can't believe how many we have in sleeveless shirts and shorts. We had such a warm, mild February! With as much as we love to be outside, we welcomed it!
Star Wars Monopoly with daddy. Looks like at this particular point he was winning. Hudson gets his dad's competitive nature and he definitely wouldn't have had this smile had he been losing!
Hadley is still so baby obsessed and I'm not sure if she will ever outgrow it. I LOVE it! She is such a mothering little girl and always a big help. Our neighbors will even ask her to come over because she is such a big help with their 1, 3 and 6 year old daughters! The day she finally gets to babysit will be the highlight of her life!
Today the mail came and she went out to get it. For some strange reason, this box came and she immediately had a questioning look on her face. As she read the box excitement came over her face. She looked at me and yelled "We are getting a baby!!!" I felt so terrible for her when I had to tell her no. She truly was devastated. But it was a little better when she opened it up and I let her have all the samples and bags for her baby dolls.
Bedtime cuddles with my little guy. He is SUCH a cuddler...and I love it!
