We love to go on nightly walks to wear out the kids before bathtime and bedtime. Now that the weather has cooled down a bit it has become much more enjoyable. Usually, Hadley rides her razor scooter and Hudson rides his tricycle but this particular night he HAD to take Hadley's grocery cart (with his trucks inside) on the walk as well.
Here he is trying to climb in the cart. It looks so real and even has a seatbelt for Hadley's baby so Hudson just didn't understand why he couldn't sit there.
And he's off:
Hadley is so incredibly good at riding this scooter. She jumps off curbs, does these spins, can even do a wheelie. Sadly, this night she was riding so fast and I turned to Matt and said, "I can't believe how good she is at riding that scooter." It was at that very moment she lost her footing, flipped off the scooter, and thankfully only ended up with a scraped elbow. We've restricted how fast she goes now!
Before the wreck:
Waiting on Hudson to catch up with his grocery cart:
I think he is all shopped out!
