We got to celebrate Daddy today with some presents, dinner, and unfortunately, a day of work. But it was still a great day. We had some pretty wonderful weather and Hudson finally decided he wanted to learn to ride his bike! He has been totally capable for a while but has had this fear of getting hurt ever since he scraped his chin after falling off his tricycle one day. He told Matt that, for his birthday, he was ready now. Matt took him in the cul-de-sac, helped him around once, let go, and he did it! He was in a little bit of shock and panicked a bit when he noticed he was on it alone but he did great. His bike is pretty big for him so he struggles a bit getting off of it and needs help getting started but that will get better. We have since been on the bike a lot! Family bike rides, bike rides with daddy while waiting on mommy to get off work, and bike rides with his sister. Its crazy to have no more training wheels and no more tricycles!!!
