This was month that started out well but ended on a very frustrating note. We had always heard the first few weeks of building a pool goes fast with lots of progress. Then it slows a little. However, our slowed A LOT! We had a few hangups during the plumbing phase, then the gunite got poured 6 inches shallower than it was supposed to be, and finally, it poured for several days causing massive flooding in our backyard. Just as it was drying up enough for them to work again, it would rain again...torrential rains. It was depressing to look outside and see red mud EVERYWHERE! But we are moving along and still looking forward to a pool (hopefully at the end of May but looking more like the beginning of June).
