Aiden decided to surprise the kids with a little something different this year! Instead of his typical "North Pole Breakfast" he brought the kids some goodies to make ice cream cones, crafts to decorate Christmas trees, and even a little present to get them excited for Christmas. We were all watching tv when we heard the doorbell ring. Hadley was quick to run to the door and then Hudson joined her to open it up and see who was there. It was quite a surprise to see Aiden sitting on the porch with a hand-written note!
After the excitement wore off and the kids calmed down a little bit we brought all the stuff inside and Hadley and Hudson opened their present. It was a puzzle with Aiden's picture on it! We all ate ice cream cones while putting together the puzzle. Such a fun end to the weekend... and the kids were even excited to go to bed so they could wake up and find him in the morning!
