Dying Easter eggs

Hadley and I decided it would be a great day to dye Easter eggs. I was a little nervous about the mess Hudson would want to make so we thought it would be a good idea to do it on the weekend while daddy was around to help. While Hudson was taking his nap we boiled all the eggs and got everything set up. It wasn't long before little man was awake and we were ready to go. Interestingly enough, Hudson had no interest in helping out and wanted to watch a movie instead. At least it calmed my fears a little bit of ending up with egg-dye stained granite.

Silly girl waiting to get started...

Concentrating so hard.

I love this picture of the excitement on her face when she pulled her first egg out. She thought it was so cool.

So proud of the egg with her name on it!

Here are the majority of her eggs that she did all by herself. She even had fun coming up with new color combinations. Next year I will try and find a better kit that has a few more fun decorating ideas because the interest didn't stay around too long.
