We're all getting better!

A little update on our sick kiddo and sick dog.

After lots of diaper rash, fussy days, and fevers, we finally got a steroid shot and Hudson was instantly better. We have had great days since and he is back to bouncing off the walls.

At the Doctor's office. Poor kid had no clue what was coming. Hadley was such a sweet big sister and let the doctor do everything to her first (except the shot, of course) so that Hudson wouldn't be scared. Unfortunately, it didn't work. They were happy as can be reading books and laughing. Then Dr. Stephens walked in and the hysterical screaming started!!! And didn't end until we were out the door and walking to the car. I was hoping we could do Hudson's 2 year appointment at the same time but because of his fever, they wanted to hold off. So now we get to do this all over again at the beginning of October. Maybe I will have Matt take off for this one!

                                    

And this guy is better too! He has miraculously recovered once again and we are so thankful. He is definitely living up to the name of the "million dollar dog" that we gave him when he was just a puppy. We will still be on medications for a couple more weeks but we all feel as if we are in the clear and Bauer will fully recover.
