Las Vegas!

Matt and I just got back from our first vacation without kids! Yes, it has been barely under 5 years and we NEEDED this. And of all places to vacation without kids, Vegas was a pretty good choice. We went with three other couples and the trip was strategically planned around the NBA playoffs. Needless to say, the guys spent a lot of time in the sports book and the girls spent a lot of time shopping. Here is our view from our hotel room in the Bellagio:

Matt and I after seeing "O" which is a must if you go to Vegas and have not seen it! I was on the edge of my seat for a full 1.5 hours. So amazing!

We saw Jessie and Woody after an early morning breakfast room and had to take a picture with them for the kids.

Some pictures from my favorite night. We went to Joe's Stone Crab for a wonderful dinner. Afterwards we walked the strip for a bit, watched the fountains in front of the Bellagio, and visited some casinos.

The girls: Alicia, LaNeale, Cheryl, and me.

LaNeale and I commented how strange it is that we have been best friends our entire lives and haven't taken a trip together since our Senior trip in high school!

After a long night it was nice to spend the day next to the pool and relax. It is amazing how much more relaxing it is to sit by the pool when you don't have sweaty kids climbing all over you!

One of my favorite window displays while shopping. Everything is shinier, more glittery, and much more expensive in Vegas!

We had such a great vacation and were so appreciative of my parents and Matt's parents watching the kids for us. We had even more fun than I had hoped for but still missed the kids like crazy and were excited to get lots of hugs when we got home.
