This past weekend Hadley went with her Aunt E and Lolly to Dallas for the weekend. Abby and Katie had their 6th birthday party at the skating rink and Hadley got to spend three days at their house. I have been told it was a busy 3 days. A birthday party, playing at the park, and two slumber parties sent back a tired girl! She was such a big girl for going without us and I think she hardly missed us. We, on the other hand, missed her like crazy and thought about her the entire time!

However, we really enjoyed a date night together. Friday night Mama and Papa offered to keep Hudson so that Matt and I could go out for an early Valentine's dinner. Matt came home from work with a sweet surprise for me:
We then went to Boulevard Steakhouse and had an incredible dinner. It rarely happens that we aren't having to scarf down our food before the kids start crying to get down from the table. We got to have a relaxing dinner to ourselves and enjoy every bite. We then decided rather than going to a movie it would be more enjoyable to rent a movie and watch it in the comfort of our own home! All-in-all it was a wonderful night and weekend.
