August pictures

Of course, I can't make them sleep in their own beds when I get to walk in to this each morning!

Loving that he is now heavy enough to ride the hoverboard.

I love chalk paint and the kids do too! It's so much more fun that regular sidewalk chalk. It starts out a little clear as you paint it on the sidewalk and then gets bright once the water dries.  We had a little chalk painting party with neighbors on the sidewalk. Even Jake and E came over on a walk and got to paint a little as well.

Matt signed up for an Extreme Football camp where he got to stay in Stillwater, go to football practices, be with the players, and eat dinner at Coach Gundy's house. He had such a great time. It was also fun to see the bag of gifts he came home with. Jackets, shirts, shoes, hats, a backpack, etc. And he even won courtside tickets to an OSU basketball game. He went with Tim and I am sure they will want to go back because it was better than he even expected.

Hadley's new Jr. Company dance team. One of the mom's hosted a swim party at Gaillardia and Hadley loved meeting some of the new girls she would be dancing with. Its a fun group!

Hudson had a sleepover with Will and I always love all the pictures I get from Sarah when he stays there. I dropped him off at Top Golf and Hadley wanted to go in and say hi too! Then they went to a movie back to their house for bed in matching t-shirts. Such sweet friends.

A little warm weather bike riding. It was totally unplanned but I love how Hadley is totally neon and matching her bicycle. She even has a backpack full of snacks and waters "just in case we need them."
Hudson is loving riding his bike and has gotten so much better. Hills are still hard on his small bike and we have lots of hills so I am anxious for him to grow just a little bit more and be able to ride on a bigger bike.

Playing catch with Hadley can be dangerous. She thought I was joking when I about dropped to my knees after catching one of her balls. Apparently, it hit me just right and broke a blood vessel. This picture is from the next day when the bruising had really set in.

Hadley joking around with me at Hudson's baseball practice. He just started on a new team, The Rangers, and I think it will be a great year. He only knows a couple of the boys but seems to already be excited to play and meet new friends. I just love this picture of Hadley with her big smile on her face.

Hudson showing off all his summer camp armbands. He is so crazy about them and refusing to cut them off. I told him we HAVE to cut them off before school starts because the are so dirty and he asked if he could save them in a bag because "they are all special memories for him." Such a sweet sentimental child!

A swim party with new dance friends after dance class. Hadley is so excited to be on the Jr. Company dance team.

Bedtime with my buddy while Hadley is at a sleepover. I LOVE his cuddles and I am so thankful he still hasn't gotten to big for them. He always wants me to lay with him in bed until he falls asleep, tickle his back, and cuddle with him.

Hudson decided he is ready to do his own hair. He spent so much time spiking it all up and was so proud of his look when he was done.

Pool time with friends and snap chat filters!

Hadley started off school with a "me bag" to show her friends. In her bag she put a family picture, American Girl doll, softball, jazz shoe, stuffed animal, and toothpaste (because her parents are dentists).

All smiles after the first week of school. 4th and 1st grade are going to be so much fun!

But along with those smiles also comes some sleepy eyes. Hudson could barely stay awake while watching some cartoons after school.

Hudson is so thrilled that Will Baker has decided to take Karate with him. It was the sweetest thing to see Hudson cheer for him as he broke his first board to earn his white belt.
