I saw an advertisement for Marvel Universe Live coming to Okc back in October and tickets weren't even for sale yet. I knew Hudson would go crazy over seeing his favorite superheros and wrote in my calendar the day the tickets would go on sale so that we definitely wouldn't miss out. We didnt tell the kids about it until the week of because we knew it would be too long of a wait for Hudson. Starting on Monday we watched a preview of the show almost every day and Hudson had a countdown going! Hudson and I went to Old Navy a few days before and he helped me pick out matching shirts for the whole family. I know he would have picked Batman if he had been a Marvel character but he seemed just as excited about getting Captain America instead.
The morning of the show Hudson was just so excited. LaNeale and her family got tickets too and asked us to meet them at Flint for breakfast. It was so yummy and the kids portions of pancakes were HUGE!
We took a few pictures in the hotel before heading across the street to the show:
Even with full bellies the kids immediately asked for Marvel sno-cones. They managed to make a little more room and were more excited about the souvenir cups we would get to take home. After walking around for a bit and looking at all the toys to buy we decided to find our seat and watch a little of the pre-show.
I cannot get over Hudson's face in this one as he saw some the stage and some of the props:

As the show ended Hudson immediately jumped out of his seat to give his daddy a great big hug and tell him "thank you!" His day was made and he had the best time. It really was a great show with some pretty amazing stunts. I am glad Hudson was 4 years old because there were a lot of story lines that I think would have lost him had we gone when he was any bit younger.
