Halloween

No matching costumes this year....they each had their own idea. And my cheapest year to date. Hudson found his costume online and he couldn't wait to be a ninja. I even scored big when I found a better one that had a glowing light. Hadley made up her unicorn costume all by herself and I asked one of my assistants to make her amazing tutu. These first pictures are from our neighborhood halloween carnival. We had hayrides, a pumpkin patch, games, a petting zoo, and a photo booth. The kids had the best time and the weather was perfect. It is so much fun having so many of the kids friends in the neighborhood.

Halloween night was a little colder this year. It was much different than the past. Ryans family moved into a new house and they were excited to do halloween in their neighborhood this year. We were so sad to not have them as they have been here the last 7 years. We were still thankful Mama and Papa came over to hand out candy so the 4 of us could go trick-or-treating together. It was much colder but still so much fun and even a little less hectic without having to keep up with so many kids. I am soaking this in because we are already seeing Hadley become a little less interested. She even debated staying home so she could pass out candy but finally changed her mind. She ended up meeting up with a ton of her friends and left us for a bit. Hudson is still having the time of his life. He dashes from house to house and never slows down a bit. He loves the scary houses and nothing phases him. He came home with enough candy to last a year!
