Our little get-away

Matt and I both needed some CE hours as we are well into our second year of this reporting period and still have 0/60! We found an oral pathology course (the same one I took in Branson a few years back) but it was being offered in Destin, Florida. This was a huge plus for multiple reasons. First of all we would get 20 hours in one weekend and second, we LOVE Seaside/Destin area. We booked our trip and were excited for a little get-away sans kids! The weather was a little bit chilly but we had a great time. Matt was able to play golf one day, we worked out each day, walked on the beach, and just relaxed. November is definitely a slow time for Destin and while walking the beach I only saw about 10 people. We, of course, did a lot of shopping for the kids as well. We stayed in a nice hotel but quickly realized what we missed so much by not staying in a house in Seaside like we did this summer. It was great to be right by the conference center though. We had some nice dinners that we were unable to have with the little ones and we ate dinner one evening with Dr. Haskins and his wife since they were there as well. Here are a few pictures of our time in Destin...
