Some of my favorites of October:
As always, ice cream will bring out the biggest smiles!
And so will candy before bedtime...
Our fall decorated porch:
Playdate with Buck and Hudson at the park while the girls were at school. Love seeing Buck at the age that he now plays with Hudson and they have such a good time together.
Candice's baby shower with Blair and LaNeale. And one of the few pictures of the month that doesn't include the kids.
Hadley loves holding her baby cousin, Gunner. He is such a sweet little baby...but also has some lungs!
Hadley trying to teach Hudson how to make a Rainbow Loom bracelet. This ended much like I anticipated with rubberbands thrown all over the floor.
Wednesdays have become a mommy/daughter day for Hadley and I. I now get off work at 2 so I run a couple errands and pick up Hadley while Kristin picks up Hudson. Hadley and I like to get a little treat before heading home. The sweetest part is that no matter what we do, she always wants to take something to Hudson as well. She is so much fun right now and I really am missing her now that she is in school every day.
For about two months now, Hudson insists on wearing his superman shirt. And it MUST be the shirt with the cape on it. It is always a trick to get him in something else and I typically lose.
OU/TX watch party at our house with the Robertsons. Good thing none of us really cared too much about the score because we played a pretty embarrassing game! The kids loved playing together and we all had such a good time.
At the mall for a playdate with my little one. We played at the mall and then ate lunch in the food court. When I asked for a smile I got a series of faces such as these instead...
When you can't decide on a popsicle or a sucker just ask mommy for both because she will probably give in.
Holland and Oscar had a pancakes and pajamas party and it was so cute. The picture doesn't even capture all the detail but LaNeale did a great job!
We went to visit my grandma and Jody in shawnee and Hudson found Jody's magnifying glass. He thought it was pretty fun for us to take turns putting it next to our face.
Hadley wanted to color and Hudson wanted to play. He patiently waited for her to finish (which doesn't happen often) and got so bored that he laid his head down.
Every Friday is Spirit day at school and the kids don't have to wear their uniforms. They just have to wear school sponsored clothes, t-shirts, uniforms etc. Hadley has a cheer uniform and wants to wear it each Friday. I think she looks so cute in it!
Playing with Charlotte at the park:
Buck and Peyton came to watch Hadley's last soccer game. And thankfully the last because it was freezing. Glad to be finishing up before it gets any colder.
Hadley's friend, Prestyn, had a cheer party where the Edmond North cheerleaders came and taught the girls a cheer and let them do a stunt. Hadley is pretty much in heaven anytime an older cheerleader is around. It was a fun party to see all the girls dressed up.
Hide and go seek with the kids and this is where Matt finally found them. They are getting pretty good at this game if Hudson could just keep from giggling!
Here is a progression of a fit in Target. It started with his head down and whining because I wouldn't buy him a superman clock. When I continued to walk away he decided he better come. And then when he noticed I was taking pictures he couldn't help but crack a smile. At least his fits don't last very long!
