Each week a different kid in Hadley's class is chosen to be the Happy Helper for the week. That student is basically the teacher's right-hand man and helps with everything from passing out papers, to leading the line, to delivering lunches. They look forward to the day and Hadley was thrilled to come running out to the car on Friday with her pink poster board while announcing she would be the Happy Helper for the next week.
The poster board is for them to decorate as an "All About Me" poster. They get to stand up in front of the class and tell all about their board. I was so proud of Hadley coming up with all the ideas by herself and I just helped her arrange and decorate. She wrote all the facts by herself and it turned out so cute! When I took her into school on Monday morning she proudly carried her poster in while making sure that it was held out so everyone could see it. It was definitely the best week of school so far!
