Making friends

My mom takes Hadley to school on the days I work and called me the other day to tell me I should be very proud of Hadley. She has a new little girl in her preschool class and she, like most kids would be on the first day, was very shy. Hadley's teacher told my mom that Hadley noticed this and immediately asked the little girl to come sit by her. She then played with her the entire day and showed her where to go. When I asked Hadley about the new girl she said, "Well mommy, she didn't have any friends so I asked her to be my friend. She REALLY likes me!"Such a sweetheart!
