Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve was a little different than previous years. We had a packed day and decided to do our Christmas Eve service early afternoon instead of at night. I actually loved doing it this way. We weren't rushed and got to enjoy the service first, reminding of us of what Christmas is really about. It also wasn't really crowded which was nice. We saw the Fares there and Ryan's family and were all about to sit together.

After the service we went straight to Mama and Papa's house for dinner, presents, and our annual Left-Right-Center games. Mama and Papa always make Christmas so special for us and the kids. My mom and dad put so much thought into gifts and love to see the kids get so excited. We are so thankful for all they do! Hadley got lots of baby clothes, gift cards, money, and a real stroller. Hudson got legos, nerf guns, and more legos. Lots of excitement!

$50 individually wrapped with a poem about gingerbread "dough." So cute!

The first year to have ALL the kids playing on their own. So much fun! This is definitely a highlight of the evening. We definitely have some competitive family members though!

After loading up the car and coming home we got cookies and milk ready for Santa. Not homemade, but surely they taste much better!

Pictures in our Christmas pajamas before bedtime. These kids are so fun and silly!
