Christmas Day

There is not much more I love than waiting for the kids to wake up on Christmas morning and watching them walk down the stairs to see their presents. Hudson really wanted a remote control nerf gun, Nintendo switch, and new shoes this year. Hadley wanted a hair mannequin to practice hairstyles, some film for her polaroid, and doll clothes.

This was one of the funniest moments. I think Hadley halfway knew she would be getting a hair mannequin but I think she had no idea how realistic it would be. Hudson definitely didn't. So when they rounded the corner of the stairs full speed they were in for quite a shock to see a doll head on the ground. Hudson stopped in his tracks and Hadley immediately yelled "whoa, thats creepy!" and turned around. I would say it at least slowed them down a bit.

Hudson pretended to faint when he saw his Nintendo switch. I think Bauer was a little confused by all the excitement.

Done opening presents and time to build some legos. Hudson really wanted to buy Hadley a lego set that he thought she would love. She isn't really into legos anymore but she still loved it and was excited to build it while he put together one of his new sets.

Looks like the dogs were as worn out as we were after all that present opening.

After eating breakfast and cleaning up a bit we went over to E's house to see Jake and his presents. We hung out over there for a bit playing with new toys and then came back to our house to change and get ready for Christmas at Lolly and Pops house. I did the absolute worst job getting pics and were even there all afternoon and evening. I did manage to get this one of the kids sitting in the rocking chair and singing Christmas carols. Every single article of clothing Hudson has on is new and I even see Hadley's new stroller in the background. Lolly prepared a wonderful Christmas dinner for us and we all were able to sit at the dining table and spend time together. We are so thankful for the hard work Lolly puts into dinner for us to enjoy!
