A Nurse and a Baker

Hadley and Hudson both had school projects due this week and got to dress up for class presentations. Hadley did a book report on Clara Barton who started the Red Cross. She dressed up as a nurse and did an oral book report for her class. She really enjoyed learning about her and did such a great job. She got a 100% on her book report! I really love that Hadley takes pride in her school work and always does her best even without us pushing her to.

Hudson's kindergarten class had to memorize a nursery rhyme and stand up in front of the class to recite it. Hudson picked Pat-a-cake, Pat-a-cake, bakers man all by himself. We bought a little chef's outfit and he LOVED saying it in front of the class. So many of his classmates were shy and talked quietly but Hudson ate it up! He has so much confidence as all the other students and moms were watching. So proud of him!
