First family OSU game for the season

The kids couldn't wait to go to their first OSU game of the season! They remembered everything about going last year and woke up so excited. Hudson played in a soccer game and then we came home to get ready. While Matt and I got ready the kids passed the time with Hadley singing in a "concert" and Hudson filming her.

All dressed and ready to go. The weather was perfect and we were looking forward to some family time together.

On Highway 51 a car body shop has built a giant Bumblebee Transformer out of used car parts. Hadley and Hudson spotted it from the highway and could hardly wait to get over and see him. We got lucky with a very small crowd of people and we were in and out pretty quickly. Definitely worth the stop if driving through Stillwater.

We made it to the campus. These kids were so excited. They remembered everything from last year and were just too excited to see all their cousins and watch the game.

We have never done the KidsZone before and we have always tailgated instead. This time we decided to spend our time before the game letting the kids play. First things first, they wanted their faces painted. Here they are "patiently waiting" as daddy stood in line. Within minutes we saw Story, Teddy, Buck, and Gunner and they were all smiles! Soon after, Jake showed up as well and I felt like our whole family had taken over...

Getting a picture of the crew became quite comical. Buck refused to be in a picture and the little ones would not hold still. I had to include all the pictures just to show how funny it was. But best of all, we finally have the two kids that are the best at posing for pictures. I guess 5+ years of making them take pics has paid off!

Daddy and his little buddy. Hudson was so excited to dress like his daddy.

Finally going in the stadium. These kids were starving and thirsty. We made it in, went straight for the food and got our bodies rehydrated. It was a toasty afternoon so we took several breaks from the outside heat and took it inside to eat some icecream. We all ate way too much food but that only increases the fun of the game. Hadley and Hudson both loved watching this year and figuring out what this football stuff was all about.

Into the 3rd quarter we took another ice cream break inside and looked out the windows. Perfect timing because just as we did, Hadley screamed, "There's Lisa!" What are the chances of that?

After the game we played a little bit longer in the kidzone. The inflatables had been taken down and all the vendors were gone but the kids still had fun running all around the field. I love some of these pictures of the kids racing. We also attempted one more photo with Jake and ended up with a pretty decent one!

Lastly, our whole family in a picture in front of the stadium! Such a fun day and just on the way home the kids were already asking when we would get to go back...
