Easter

The Easter bunny made an early appearance before the kids got out of bed and set up some great baskets for the kids. I was just as excited to see their faces when they saw the baskets.

As usual, Hadley woke up a few hours before Hudson and knowing we would be pushing it to get ready for church we decided to let Hadley open her stuff up while Hudson slept. That way we would have plenty of time to get her a bath and dressed for Easter service.

Pretty excited about all her goodies!

Hudson woke up only about 30 minutes before it was time to leave. He sleepily came down the stairs to a full basket of toys which pepped him up for a bit. He wasn't too into pictures but did let Hadley help him open everything up.

But unfortunately, we soon found out why Hudson slept so long and didn't show a ton of excitement. He had been coughing a bit and not feeling great for the past couple days but it only got worse that morning. He wouldn't move off the couch and his eyes just looked "sick." We decided to spare the other families and I stayed home with him while Matt took Hadley to church with all the Hollomans. Afterwards, they both went over to Lolly and Pops house for an Easter lunch. Poor Hudson hung out on the couch resting and I enjoyed a little cuddle time with him. The entire day went about like this and we are hoping for a quick healing!

The closest thing to an Easter pic that I could get of the two kids:
