Peyton had her 8th birthday party at Paint Your Art Out. She was able to go into the studio a few days before and pick out a sketch for each of the girls. She decided they would all paint angels. Since Hudson was the only boy at the party he decided he wanted to paint an owl since there were no trucks or dinosaurs. The party was so much fun and it was a perfect party for 8 year olds who seem to be at that "crafty" age. I was really impressed with how each of the canvases turned out.
Peyton's cake...so, so cute!
Hudson loved wearing an apron and was so patient as he waited for his paints. Patience is not one of his virtues so he did amazingly well.
Hadley just loved being surrounded by a bunch of older girls and getting to sit right across from the birthday girl.
I was really impressed with how Hudson's painting started out. He actually seemed like he had a plan...
...but seemed to get a little off track here....
....losing sight of the owl....
...and we may need to work on knowing when to call it quits! But he loved his painting and tried really hard. I actually love it too, and with the little splashes of green and orange, it will fit in his room perfectly.
Hadley was a little more detailed and really wanted to paint a pretty picture.
The birthday girl!
Finished product!
Story, Hadley, and Peyton with their paintings. Happy Birthday, Peyton. Thanks for such a fun party!
