It's a boy thing

Here's a collection of "boy" pictures I have taken lately. Hadley at this age hated dirt, didn't want to get sweaty, and always had clean clothes. Then enters into our life a small boy that can make pretty big messes and LOVES to be dirty.

We are outside most days when Daddy gets home. Hudson screams his name the second he pulls in the driveway and is quick to jump in his truck and help him pull it in the garage.

If he can't be naked, he at least wants to have his shirt off!

Loving (or terrorizing) Bauer. I am pretty sure Bauer enjoys all the attention Hudson gives him, though.

Watching the construction trucks with Daddy.
Thinking HE is walking the dogs.

Our daily routine typically consists of going on walks, riding bikes, playing in the dirt, and always a little basketball.
The plus side to construction always going on around us... another playground. These kids would have played in these sand piles all night if it hadn't gotten dark and I made them come in.

"What?"

Matt and I were picking weeds one evening and Hadley and Hudson decided to help. Hadley was great at figuring out what was a weed but Hudson decided he only wanted to pull the pansy petals. He was having so much fun "helping" until we saw flower petals all over the sidewalk and quickly made him stop. We had full blown tears!

Apparently he was eating the dirt as well.

Sitting in the front seat while we waited for Hadley in the carpool line. He loved getting buckled in and pretending to ride in the front seat.

He sees her coming!
This is in the church lobby before mother's day out. My type-A personality typically gets us there early and Hudson loves to sit in these chairs each morning.
