Our 4th of July celebrations started on the 3rd with family and friends coming over to swim and then watch the fireworks that Rose Creek puts on. Once again, it was a great show! The pool has made it so much fun to have people over. Look at our kids and their 4th of July spirit...
4th of July morning we went over to the Bucks house for their neighborhood parade. They had decorated Trey's jeep and trailer. The kids had a blast parading through the neighborhood!
We did a few mini fireworks before heading back home to celebrate with friends at our neighborhood pool.
We went down to the pool and Hudson spent about 45 minutes of our time there reading his new Captain Underpants book! We all competed in swim races and a money dive, followed by eating some food off the grill. The heat and activity wore us all out and we went home to rest before heading back out to the Bucks for more fireworks. Hadley passed out in our bed until we had to wake her up to leave!
Some pics for the night. It was so much fun. The fireworks their neighbors put on are pretty amazing...and maybe a little scary too! I just kept waiting for something to catch on fire!!!
We all had a great day celebrating. I'm thankful for a day off tomorrow...we will be tired!
