Knightwalk

Knightwalk, our annual fundraiser, includes raising money for the school. In return the kids pledge to walk laps around the track in unity. The kindergarteners did it on Thursday and the weather was amazing. I had to work and didn't get to go but Hudson's teacher sent us this picture of the kids before walking the track. Shorts and t-shirts. Hudson said he loved walking with his friends and even ran most of the time.

The next day was the rest of the schools turn. A major cold front came through and it was so bitter cold! I mean...miserable.  The wind was so strong and the kids were freezing the entire time. Unfortunately, the weather men were completely wrong and although the expected  a little front, it was much worse than anticipated. I went up for a little bit to get some cute pictures of Hadley with her friends but I was really thankful when they tried to wrap it up quickly!

At the knightwalk celebration on Friday evening...

We picked Hadley up from dance a little bit early and tried to get there right on time. Both kids had so much fun but Hudson stayed pretty close to our side, occasionally running off with a friend, where Hadley stayed with her friends and occasionally came up to us to say hi. Therefore, I have lots of pictures of Hudson from the night and very few of Hadley.

Hudson loved getting his hair painted. I don't think he even realized that was a thing and he thought it was so cool that he could have blue paint in his hair! He also picked out a couple temporary tattoos and was so bashful with the cute girl that put them on. He played the mini golf game, football toss, jumped on the bounce houses, and loved the candy walk. He was all smiles!

Hadley always says this is a favorite night. She loves running around with her friends, taking  as many pictures as possible in the photo booth, and collecting candy in the candy walk. She is such a happy social girl and just hops from friend to friend!

We had a great night as we celebrated more money raised for the school!
