Since we hadn't planned any vacation this year over Spring Break, we tried to think of something fun for the kids to do close to home. We had heard a lot about the Clinton Waterzoo (about an hour away) and decided we would try it out. It ended up being much more fun than I ever expected. The kids stripped out of their clothes and into their swimsuits immediately and could not wait to get in the water! Hadley was a little fish and swam all over the place while I was so proud of Hudson for not being scared of anything and going right down the slides. We realized it is definitely time for us to start swim lessons with him!
Ryan and Lisa got there about 30 minutes after us with their Peyton, Buck, and Gunnar. Peyton and Hadley were off by themselves in about 10 seconds and they would just check in at times to let us know they were ok. Buck and Gunnar took some time to get adjusted to the water but about an hour into they were splashing in the water like the rest of the kids. We ate lunch, swam so more, and when the kids were finally exhausted we made the car ride back home. We ended up being there about 6 hours and it was a perfect trip. We had such a great time and I'm excited to try it out again soon!
