Hadley's 11th Birthday!

Its so hard to believe that Hadley can be 11 years old. Each year seems to go faster than the year before and I get so nostalgic on their birthdays and thinking about years past. I am so incredibly thankful for this girl. She still has the most easy-going attitude, loves to hang out with anybody, doesn't meet a stranger, always wakes up in a good mood, has a smile on her face all day long, never gets frustrated, is teachable, loves sports and dancing, loves dressing up and doing her hair, makes straight A's, and just thinks life is great pretty much all the time!

We had a birthday celebration 2 days before her birthday at Mama and Papa's house with cookie cake and family. She got lots of presents and attention!

Then round 2 was celebrated at Upper Crust with the Hollomans the night before her birthday. Cookie Pie for desert followed by snow cones outside....hard to beat.

Birthday selfies...our last day to have her as a 10 year old!

Birthday morning! We had present opening before daddy left for work and it was an exciting morning! She asked for doll clothes and loved her new outfits. She got some clothes for herself and some new accessories. And then we saved the best for last. As Hadley started opening the last present we had Mama call her new PHONE! She was so confused and then so excited! We had also had all her family text her birthday messages so when she opened her phone she got to read all her happy birthdays. So much fun!

Our fun day could continue. Pedicures and manicures followed by picking up a couple friends for lunch at chick-fil-a and snocones (two of Hadleys favorites). It couldn't have been a more perfect day. I loved celebrating with her all day!!!

Vacation Bible School

It worked out this year for the kids to go to Vacation bible school at Spring Creek, where I went growing up. They had a great time. Kristin was working up there and took some pictures for me and then I got to spend the morning with them on Friday. Hudson's favorite part was fishing. Hadley's favorite was the games. I love this week and seeing the kids have fun learning about Jesus!

Hudson loses his front teeth!

Hudson's teeth have been loose and he has been terrified that they would get really loose while at kanakuk and he would lose his teeth while there. We had a free weekend and he asked daddy to take him up to the office to take his teeth out. Such a trooper! He knew he was getting shots and it didn't phase him a bit. Matt said he was so brave and didn't even flinch.  As soon as they were done we all went to the neighborhood pool and he loved showing off his new smile. I cannot get enough of this toothless smile! He is just the cutest boy I've ever seen....many more toothless pics to come, I am sure.

College World Series

The Rouse's family gave us their tickets to watch the College World Series. We have never been and it was so much fun! The tickets were split two and two so we switched off with the kids to have the good seats. Hadley could not get over the throwing speed of the girls. She commented several times on how much she would love to be out there. Hudson sat in his seat with his glove in the air the entire time so that he could hopefully catch a foul ball! Such a fun family afternoon!

Rangers go to the Bricktown Ballpark

Every year EASI (our baseball/softball league) has a Dodger's day where the teams come to a game and get to walk the field. We have never been able to go but this year our family went to watch Hudson walk the field. It was SO hot but we had a great time. The kids even came home with some fun Dodgers gear!

Easton came over to spend the night afterwards and they boys made "horns" out of Hudson's magnatiles.
