Soul de Soul - Hadley's first dance convention

Hadley had her first dance convention at a hotel downtown. We had so much fun spending the weekend together and I loved just getting to sit and watch her dance. She did such a great job and had so much energy. She sure has come to truly love dance!

Orr Family Farm....again

The kids were out of school for parent teacher conferences so Sarah Baker and I decided to plan a fun day since the weather was so nice. We went to the Orr Family Farm as soon as we each finished our conference and we sure had a crew. Sarah had offered to take Nate and Kate since their moms would be working.  And I let each of the kids take a friend so Hadley took Peyton and Hudson took Creighton, one of his new buddies from school. It got so much hotter than I anticipated and we had some tired kids at the end of the day!

We started out in the corn pit and the kids thought it was hilarious to see how much corn they could           stuff in their clothes. They were all giggling so hard and although it was slightly disgusting to think         of how many other kids had done the same thing, it was still funny to take pictures of.

Next we went out to all the tires and slides. We got some drinks because everyone was always so thirsty and some chocolate chip cookies (the best cookies I've ever had). We then rode the tractor trykes, jumped on the trampoline pillows, and played on the playground set. We finished our day with a trainride around the farm. We really did have so much fun....but there was one story I will never forget. Creighton's mom said, "he can be a little crazy so feel free to get on to him." Well, it was a little more extreme than I had anticipated. He wouldn't listen to me at all and was a complete runner. He would start running, I would have to chase him down, and he would turn and run again. At one point Sarah and I couldn't even find him. We just kept dying laughing the whole time that we had no idea how to keep him near us. It was probably the main reason I came home and just wanted to lay on the couch!

Look at all these sweet friends!

Family Pics

We had Laure Eckel take some family pictures for our Christmas cards and they may definitely be my most favorite session EVER!  I love every single one of them and can't get over those precious kids faces. They both ate up the camera and with absolutely no bribing involved. Ha.

Orr family Farm- CCS night

Not many pictures but we had a fun night at the CCS annual Orr Family Farm visit. I cannot even believe I committed to this knowing we would be getting back in town the night before with a newly painted house and everything out of place. But once the kids knew about it there was no way we were getting out of going! Matt had a crazy day at work and ended up staying home and putting stuff back together so I took the kids and met Lolly, E, Tim, and Jake there. It was a long drive, once again, but we had a great time once we got there. Hudson has already made so many new Kindergarten friends and it was fun to see him playing with them. Hadley loved seeing all her friends that always go and she disappeared with them for most of the night! The weather was perfect and we left with two super tired kids!
